Quick Vegan Pesto Pasta Sauce

– 1 cup of fresh basil leaves
– 1 cup of kale or sub for spinach/arugula
– 4 tbsp of walnuts (pine nuts, cashews or any other nut you have at home) 

– 4 peeled garlic cloves
– 5 tbsp of nutritional yeast
– 4 tbsp of olive oil
– 3 tbsp of lemon juice 

– If needed add a few tbsp of water to loosen the texture
– Add chilli peppers if you like it spicy!
– The nutritional yeast is pretty salty (add salt as desired) 

Directions
– Blend all ingredients in the food processor until smooth

– Scrape down the sides and play with the taste for your liking 😉  

– Serve on your choice of pasta or bread or even as a dip!
